Day 3 (Nighttime)-Saturday Aug 11, 2001
Narrative by Simeon Alo...
The finale! The Birthday Bash; a wonderful dinner, entertainment, singing, dancing, laughing, sharing. Honestly, this was an awesome night. You had to have been there, unbelievable, a banquet hall filled with friends, classmates, couples, singles, etc.; the final list of attendee's will bring tears to your eyes, once you come to one of these events, you are hooked.
Hoku, Nalei, Uilani, Kauanoe, and Sheri, Mahalo for sharing your gracefulness and gift of Hula.
Da "Boogie King" says, "When the time is right and the music moves you; ...DANCE!"
Oh what a NIGHT!!! Brian C. you still got it!!!!
Finally,(but not quite) we had Gerry Lam come up and we celebrated his 50th BIRTHDAY. It's amazing what classmates will do. Nancy brought two huge blow-up-(7 ft.) Smokey da Bear kind heavy duty figures and dressed them up as females, wigs, nite-gowns, balloons, etc. and brought them up on stage. Gerry came front and center of the dance floor and we all sang "Happy Birthday" to him as the "Bears" moved to the music. Mahalo's to all that made this possible, Bobby W., Uilani, Nani, and especially Bobby Lu Nary/Kniskern for putting on 50 balloons for Jerry to pop...soo funny.
Okay, Now Finally... Gilbert Chee, what was that on your hotel room door? Wow, 'someone' took pictures!!!! Mahalo for sharing, The Men and Women of Pauahi.
