Kali Watson's "Birthday Luau" held December 15, 2001 at the Atherton Halau, Bishop Museum was Fantastic!!! Kali's Ohana worked very hard to put such a great event together.
There was dancing to a lot of 60's music. Word is that Kali danced with every female classmate before the evening was done. The Hawaiian food was great and Kali preferred a donation to the Boys & Girls Club instead of a birthday gift. It was a great evening.

The class of '69 rallies around Kali on his Beeg 5-0 Birthday Luau...
Tuddie's birthday banner continues duty as the official backdrop of 5-0 birthday bashes.
A number of classmates flew in for the event; Molokai was well represented by Ricky Pa, Mugsy Akiona, Tuddie Purdy; Lynn and Les Hiranaka came in from Kaui; and Nate Chang flew in from Hilo. Other attendees included Alan Kumalae, Andy Keliikoa and wife Jackie, Scott Rodgers, Alfred Willing, Randy and Blossom Tong, Gilbert Chee, Nancy Souza, Linda Rosehill, Neal Chung, the Alos and the Kaneakuas.
