Report From Faithy Horner...
Ho'omau Maui 2005
August 18-21, 2005

Aloha to Our Imua69 Ohana,

You know that when we pass on or become a "kukui nut" there are only two things we really take with us...our knowledge and our relationships. Knowledge of all that we've learned through schooling or experiences. But of the two, our relationships with our families and friends are of the greatest value.

As I've read the words flowing from the hearts of our classmates, expressing their feelings of this weekend's get together, I too want to share my thoughts with each of you. Whether you were there or not in body, you were there in thought and conversation as we searched our memories for those moments spent with you while in Kamehameha. Our laughter and joy was to celebrate our friendship, an eternal one, with all of you.

How grateful I am that so many of you chose to be a part of Maui Ho'omau 2005. For those who didn't make it, please know that you were sincerely missed and we look forward to another opportunity to get together with you in the future.

To the Maui group, specifically Robbie and Ed, Guy and Mika'ala, Michele, George..."big ups", hugs and kisses to you for taking the challenge on and making a success of it. You enthusiasm, effort and honest hard work made this a very memorable weekend for me.

To all my dear friends, whom I love deeply, God bless us all. May our paths always cross and in so doing help us to become better for it. Until we meet again...

Malama pono,
Faithy
