June 7, 2002 Stuart Henderson writes "I drove up to Hilo to have breakfast at Osakas...Ono saimin! Little did I know I was entering a plot of multiple conspiracies. The bunch in Honolulu mild compared to these radicals! --Nathan, David, Mili, and Meliss with her husband. One shot attached below (this may be evidence to put me in jail someday when 'they' round up everyone associated with these radicals, but then again, I would be proud to go)!" |

May 11, 2002 brought the classmates living in the Pacific Northwest together again. ToDAI, an all-you-can-eat buffet, provided the perfect culinary backdrop for our antics, causing us to change the pronunciation from "toe-dai" to "to die..." as in 'food so good it was "to die" for'. Mike & Laulani Donlin, Theone, DJ, Mahea, Bobby Lu and her friend Cathy, and Wayne & Flora Wong was there --so much laughter and so many stories. |

The get-together came about because Bobby Lu came up from Portland to train Nick at the Key Classic Benefit Morgan Horse Show in Monroe, Washington. We got to watch Bobby Lu put Nick through his paces. Let me tell you, that girl can ride! |

A classmate writes, "I recently came across this picture that is quite funny. This is a picture of the Mokuaikaua Church (Kailua, Kona) children's choir taken in 1957 or 1958. There are two Imua69 classmates pictured here. Can you guess who they are?" |
|
![]() "Can you spot the two Imua69 Classmates?" ( the answer is... ) |

On March 20, 2002 Nathan Chang writes, "Attached is a photo of myself, Ikaika Hauanio ('91) and Wallace Wong ('77) in San Jose at the recent Rotary Presidents training. As it turns out this coming year, three of the seven Rotary Presidents on the Big Island are Kamehameha graduates. Ikaika's dad is from the class of '68." |
