Aloha Everyone!
I want to share some of these "prize" winning photos with everyone. Hope you enjoy them. Its always nice to see dear friends,
It was fun meeting Lani & the Kaneakuas for breakfast, the treat was getting this picture taken. Check out the car! Lani can be Ms. Kohala!
Another nice treat was visiting with Carol during her trip home recently. The Kaneakuas had a little "spontaneous" gathering at their Iopno Lp. home. Carol's home coming brought sista Pua out from Waialua,Randy T. even came for a visit along w/the Soons,Osorios, Ferreiras, Billie & Leighton & the Souza's....
Last week we ventured over to Beautiful Kaua'i along with the Chongs & sista E!. First priority on our itinerary...Kathy & Brysonne in Wainiha. We met Eda & Marianne for breakfast in Kapa'a, filled our opu to the max! then hopped in to our cars & made the scenic drive to opulent Wainiha Valley. The drive was just awesome! The waterfalls & ocean views were to die for!! Imagine people pay thousands of $$$ for this kind of vacation & how fortunate we are to live here & see the beauty of our islands each day.
Brysonne was there waiting for us! How exciting it was to see Kathy & him for the first time since their arrival home from Colorado. We got to meet the "pets" of the Nishimoto home. They have 7 dogs, couple cats &&& a pet COW!!! named Isabella. She is so cool!. She stands watch over Kathy all day from her pasture. Kathy's bed faces Izzy's playground so they can see each other all the time. She knows when its feeding time & if Brys is late she MOOOOS very loudly so that even Kathy will know that Brys is neglecting his chores. Ha!
To save those of you wondering if Izzy has to be milked, the answer is No,black cows don't give milk. Well, thats what Brys told me. He could be pulling my leg, I grew up in the city, what the heck do I know about black cows & white cows & brown cows!!? And my girlfrens.....they all started to laugh because they were thinking the same question as me but was shame to ask.....so let Lorraine ask! thanks girls!
The Nishimotos have a very busy household. Kathy receives her daily care 24/7 from Brys. Hes doing a wonderful job! Kathy's able to speak so she definately has a say in how things are done in her home. when Kathy speaks, Brysonne listens! right Brys?
Our visit ame to an end & eda said a very nice blessing for everyone before we said Aloha. It was a very nice visit & very inspiring for all of us. To have Tomi Girl & Kathy there side by side holding on to each other, giving each other the encouragement & support to get through the obstacles put before them .......it was a moment that was just filled with so much Mana & a lot of Aloha, I was privileged to be there at that moment.
Until the next time. Make the moments count my friends!
Malama Pono!
